Chief Operating Officer & Owner

Mike runs Falcon's operations and is involved in every job day to day as COO and one of Falcon's owners: bid review, crews and labor, oversight of production, and escalation. He works with the Falcon supervisor and the project team on each job, and he is reachable for any decision or escalation.

Steve Good

Vice President, Operations & Preconstruction

Steve leads preconstruction and estimating: takeoffs and quantity verification in Bluebeam and PlanSwift, scope review, system selection, RFIs and value engineering, and the technical review of every Falcon bid. He has more than 50 years in commercial roofing, across field production, estimating, sales leadership and product development.

Over his career:

  • Sales director when his company was twice named Duro-Last Contractor of the Year (2006 and 2007)
  • A Fort Hood family-housing roofing program on the order of six million square feet, and thousands of roofs installed at Fort Hood
  • First Cavalry barracks and supporting facilities at Fort Hood
  • Family housing at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii
  • Product-development team for the Duro-Last Shingle-Ply membrane
  • City of Houston commercial roofing code committee: helped develop the 65% minimum solar-reflectance provision
  • Consultant on the roofing incentives in the Energy Policy Act of 2005, now the IRS Section 179D deduction

Every job is covered by role, not by one person.

You get the names for your job before mobilization: the Falcon supervisor on your site and your contact on our project team.

Field supervision.

OSHA 30-trained Falcon supervisors. One is on your site every working day: runs the site, leads the safety briefing, and sends your end-of-day photo report and any same-day weather or delay notice.

Project management and coordination.

Schedule, submittals, RFIs and the weekly look-ahead. Deliveries, inspections and the trades around the roof.

Preconstruction and estimating.

Led by Steve Good. Spec and detail review, takeoffs, system alternates, value engineering and the bid.

Safety and compliance.

Site-specific safety plans, Activity Hazard Analyses, training records, and base and site access paperwork.

Project administration.

Certified payroll, invoicing, lien and bond waivers, certificates of insurance and closeout documents.

Leadership involvement.
