CREWS & BASE ACCESS
Base-ready crews. Nationwide. On site on day one.
Falcon manages and supervises every job: an OSHA 30-trained Falcon supervisor is on site every working day, and Falcon-managed crews do the installation. We finish the crew paperwork before mobilization, so day one is a work day.
Texas-based. Nationwide deployment.
Falcon-managed crews travel for out-of-state and federal installation work. Tell us where your job is in the bid invite, and we plan travel and mobilization into the price.
Installation access, step by step.
This is our process on a federal installation. VA medical centers and hospitals run their own badging, escort and site rules, and we follow the same steps with theirs. Every site runs its own system, so we start with yours.
- 1
Get the rules.
At award we get the installation's access requirements from you: the visitor and contractor pass system, the badging office, escort rules, work hours and required training.
- 2
Pre-register the crew.
The crew roster goes into the installation's visitor and contractor pass system.
- 3
Background checks and badging.
Every worker goes through the installation's background check and badging before day one.
- 4
Site training.
Required site training, for example fall protection, is finished before day one.
- 5
Safety paperwork in.
Site-specific safety plan and Activity Hazard Analyses submitted. EM 385-1-1 where the contract invokes it. If it requires an SSHO, we engage a qualified one or work under the prime's.
- 6
Day one.
A badged, trained crew at the gate, ready to work.
Put the installation's access rules in your bid invite and we price the time they take.

One written safety program for every crew.
Falcon Corporate Safety Program (FAL-SOP-SAFETY-001). Current revision on request. The same rules apply to Falcon employees and subcontractor crews, and the OSHA 30-trained Falcon supervisor on your site leads the safety briefing every working day.
100% fall protection.
100% fall protection for every person exposed to a fall of 6 feet or more on construction work, and 4 feet or more on maintenance work under OSHA's general-industry rule, with no task exceptions. Where your contract or site standard is stricter, it governs.
Stop Work Authority.
Every person on a Falcon project can stop work, without fear of retaliation.
Hot work rules.
A hot work permit, per site or GC requirements, before work starts. A dedicated fire watch during hot work and for at least 60 minutes after. Heat-welding equipment attended at all times while it is powered.
Same-day incident reporting.
Incidents go to the Falcon supervisor on site immediately, to Falcon's safety program administrator the same day, and to you as your contract requires. Subcontractors are bound to this by contract.
Watertight every night.
Tear-off is limited to the area that can be made watertight the same day.
Site-specific plans.
A site-specific safety plan and Activity Hazard Analyses for your site. EM 385-1-1 where the contract invokes it.
We require every crew company to carry its own coverage.
We require every installation crew company to carry its own general liability and workers' compensation, and to name Falcon, and you where your contract requires it, as additional insured.
