For roofing companies working outside their area

Got a job you can't staff, or a federal site where every worker has to clear base access? An OSHA 30-trained Falcon supervisor runs the site and Falcon-managed crews do the work, with the same daily report, base access process and certified payroll. We take furnish-and-install or labor-only scopes.

On labor-only scopes we install the system you are approved for, to your manufacturer's details and under your warranty.

Send us the job

FEDERAL-READY

Ready for federal work, and what we count for.

Falcon's documentation and administrative practice is built for federal and prevailing-wage delivery:
  • Davis-Bacon prevailing wage compliance, with WH-347 certified payroll and the Statement of Compliance every week
  • SF-1413 Statement & Acknowledgment
  • EM 385-1-1 where the contract invokes it
  • Activity Hazard Analyses and a site-specific safety plan
  • Base access process: pre-registration, background checks, badging and site training before day one
  • Base-ready crews built to work on military installations, VA medical centers and hospitals
  • An OSHA 30-trained Falcon supervisor on site every working day
  • SAM.gov active, reps & certs current · UEI KCBVN6Q3ZSH8 · CAGE 201S0
  • SBA VetCert certified SDVOSB · VOSB, certified through June 2029
  • Buy American and country-of-origin documentation · PIEE / WAWF familiarity
  • Submittals, product data and closeout packages · manufacturer warranty registered to the Government

What an SDVOSB sub is worth to a prime

For large primes

  • Falcon's scope counts toward a prime's SDVOSB subcontracting goal under FAR 52.219-9, for primes with a subcontracting plan.
  • Our SBA VetCert certification is public, so your small-business office can verify it on the SBA search before you award.

For SDVOSB primes on SDVOSB set-asides

  • As an SBA-certified SDVOSB, the work we perform ourselves can count toward an SDVOSB prime's limitations-on-subcontracting compliance (13 CFR 125.6(c)). We give you that split before we bid.

The fine print, up front

  • This applies when we are small under the NAICS code you assign to our subcontract. Our primary NAICS, 238160, has a $19M size standard.
  • Work we pass on to a lower-tier subcontractor counts against your limit. The crews on Falcon jobs are subcontracted, so only Falcon's own share of the work counts in your favor. We spell out that share before we bid.
  • On VA contracts, VAAR 852.219-75 also applies.

GC QUESTIONS

What GCs ask us before they invite us.

Do you take labor-only or furnish-and-install scopes?
Both. Furnish-and-install or labor-only, with the same Falcon supervision, daily report, safety program and paperwork either way. On labor-only scopes we install the system you are approved for, to your manufacturer's details and under your warranty. How we work for roofing companies.
Do you do new construction, or only reroofs?
Both, plus repair and maintenance. We work for GCs on reroofs and new construction, and we value-engineer through every phase. See the systems matrix.
Who is on the roof?
An OSHA 30-trained Falcon supervisor is on site every working day and is Falcon's designated competent person on your site. Each crew also has its own competent person on site whenever it is working. You get both names before mobilization. Mike Price, COO & Owner, is involved in every job day to day and is a phone call away for any decision or escalation.
Can you name us as additional insured, with a waiver of subrogation?
Yes. Certificates naming you as additional insured, with waiver of subrogation, are issued on request. Send your insurance requirements with the invite.
Do you do certified payroll?
Yes. On prevailing-wage work we file certified payroll every week on form WH-347, with the Statement of Compliance.
Does your workers' comp cover jobs outside Texas?
Falcon's workers' compensation covers Falcon's own people, including the site supervisor. We require every crew company to carry its own. Before we price, we confirm both cover your job's state, along with any state or local licensing, and you get the certificates.
How is extra work handled?
On a field ticket with photos and quantities. You approve it before the work is done.
How fast do you answer a bid invite?
You get a yes or no within one business day.
When do we get your number?
When we say yes, we tell you that day when our number will reach you. It reaches you before your bid is due, with clear inclusions and exclusions. Short notice? Put your bid date in the subject line.
Can you send your EMR and OSHA logs?
Our EMR letter from our workers' comp carrier is available on request, and so is our OSHA recordkeeping status. Request them from the prequal kit.
